Communication Seminar 100

Although Angelica Lim or “Aika”, a second year AB Communications student from the Ateneo De Manila University is known primarily by her friends as an athlete, she has always been an artist at heart. She likes art because it is a “way of expressing yourself and your views. People don’t have to agree with the issues you portray in your artwork but at least it provokes thought.”
She took the higher level International Baccalaureate course in art for 2 years in her high school Jakarta International School and has received the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools Best Artist Award. Her artistic expression has no preference but she mostly does acrylic on canvas, digital art and mixed mediums. The dynamic sources of her inspiration manifests in each of her works, thus creating a truly unique and surreal experience for both art enthusiasts and casual lookers alike.
And hopefully soon enough, we’ll be seeing her headlining an art exhibit, giving her pieces their much-awaited break.
